Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data NapCoach AI receives, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and what rights users and parents or guardians may have.

1. Controller

NapCoach AI is operated by Selencia LLC. Our public company and support details are listed on the Company Details and Support page.

2. Data we process

  • Account and contact data such as Telegram/MAX identifiers, Apple/Google/email identity data, name, username, interface language, email, and device or session identifiers.
  • Child profile and routine data such as name or nickname, birth date, feed type, sleep location, sleep sessions, feed sessions, notes, and family settings.
  • Chat content, support messages, AI prompts, AI responses, plans, briefs, and related product activity.
  • Audio files that you intentionally upload to Comfort Sounds. These files are stored for playback and are available to caregivers linked to the same child until removed.
  • Technical data such as IP address, user agent, cookies, local storage, security logs, and diagnostics.
  • Billing data such as Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, Stripe, TBank, or Telegram Stars subscription status, receipts, invoices, refunds, and payment-event identifiers. We do not receive full payment-card details.

3. Why we use data

  • To provide the website, Telegram/MAX bot, Mini App, native iOS/Android app, and subscription features.
  • To generate sleep tracking, summaries, reminders, plans, and AI-assisted responses.
  • To process payments, receipts, refunds, subscription renewals, and fraud prevention steps.
  • To support users, resolve incidents, maintain security, and improve reliability.
  • To understand product usage through analytics on landing or product pages when those tools are enabled.

4. Legal bases

Depending on where you are located, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performing our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Who we share data with

  • Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, Stripe, TBank, Telegram Stars, or another payment provider shown at checkout, as applicable to your purchase channel.
  • Hosting, infrastructure, email, monitoring, and storage providers needed to run the service. Production error monitoring uses our first-party GlitchTip deployment.
  • OpenAI receives the prompts and relevant child/account context required to generate native AI chat, plans, briefs, and guidance only after the current explicit native AI-processing consent is granted.
  • Website analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Yandex Metrica only on surfaces where they are enabled and disclosed; they are not the source of native subscription entitlement.

We do not sell personal data as an independent product.

6. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. Child data

NapCoach AI is intended for parents and caregivers, not for direct use by children. You should only submit child-related data if you are authorized to do so.

Please avoid submitting unnecessary medical records or excessive sensitive data. If you have a medical concern, contact a qualified clinician.

Comfort monitor cry/motion detection runs on the device. Unlike audio files you intentionally upload to Comfort Sounds, raw monitor microphone audio and camera frames are not uploaded for detection; the backend receives only the alert event and related child/device context needed for delivery.

8. Retention

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect the integrity of the product.

When deletion is requested, we delete or de-identify data unless we must keep certain records for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-handling reasons.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

Native AI consent can be declined or withdrawn in the app. Withdrawal stops new external AI processing for that consent version and processor; it does not delete non-AI tracking data or prevent account export/deletion. A new processor or materially updated disclosure requires a new grant.

10. Cookies and tracking

See the Cookies Notice for more detail on cookies, local storage, analytics, and technical identifiers used on the website.

If you need payment help, contract details, a data deletion request, or subscription support, contact [email protected] or message us in @napcoach / NapCoach on MAX.
