Account & Data Deletion

1. Delete your account (and all data)

You can request full account deletion in either of these ways:

• In the app: open Child / Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. Your account and associated data are removed without contacting support.
• By email: write to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete your account. We may verify ownership before deleting.

2. Delete specific data without deleting the account

If you want to remove only certain data (for example a child profile, sleep and feed history, or chat history) while keeping your account, delete those items in the app, or email [email protected] describing what you want removed.

3. What is deleted

• Account and profile data (name, email, language, device and session identifiers).
• Child profiles and routine data (name or nickname, birth date, feed type, sleep location, settings).
• Sleep sessions, feed sessions, plans, briefs, notes, and coaching data.
• Chat content, support messages, AI prompts and responses linked to your account.
• Push notification tokens and shared-access invitations you created.

4. What we keep, and for how long

• Billing and tax records (subscription, receipt, refund and payment-event identifiers) are retained for the period required by accounting and tax law, then deleted.
• Security and abuse-prevention logs may be retained for a limited period.
• Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer identify you may be retained for analytics.

5. How long deletion takes

In-app account deletion takes effect immediately, with backups and downstream systems purged within 30 days. Email requests are completed within 30 days of identity verification. Records we are legally required to keep are deleted once their mandatory retention period ends.
