How Baby Monitor works

Baby Monitor analyses microphone sound and optional camera motion on the device and can send alert events without uploading media.

In the Telegram or MAX Mini App, open Comfort → Baby Monitor; it is not operated from the chat. In the native iOS/Android app, open Baby Monitor from Comfort. Detection begins only after you tap Start and grant microphone access. Cry-like sound is analysed on the device. After Start and camera permission, the preview can be used to frame the cot. Motion analysis itself is optional and starts only when the Motion detection switch is enabled. NapCoach does not upload audio, photos, or video; for linked-device alerts, the server receives only alert metadata such as child, alert type, and time.

Good to know

Comfort requires subscription access. Detection can miss events or produce false alarms and depends on device permissions, foreground execution, and network access for remote alerts. It is not a medical device, a certified monitor, or a replacement for direct adult supervision.

If it does not work

Contact @napcoach immediately if media appears to leave the device or the microphone or camera activates before Start.
